Support Haitung Goodwill Foundation's Mission

Two patients lying on beds in a rustic wooden clinic with caregivers attending them.

In the health sector in 2013, the foundation initiated a health initiative by employing one nurse at Impa Village, offering a salary of ₹10,000/- per month alongside community support of approximately ₹1,00,000/- for emergency medicine. This effort enabled the foundation to provide essential services to many villagers from 8 neighboring villages, including Old Impa, New Impa, Inem, New Magulong, Old Magulong, Nzingning, and both Old & New Katang. Additionally, nearby villages from Nagaland, such as Ngam and Lelong, also sought assistance for emergency cases. This arrangement successfully continued for 2 years.

Since 2016, this Health Centre has been providing vital community support to over 2500 people in the surrounding villages. With a dedicated staff, it offers essential medicines, treatment, and emergency medicine, while also conducting minor operations as needed. This health initiative was recognized with the Best Innovative Work under the Chief Minister Good Governance Award on August 15, 2021.
